Rough Draft of Glory

It is an amazing thing
That finite creatures, though
we are,
Should be chosen to
House the one in whom the fullness of
God was pleased to dwell.
This is the mystery and the miracle,
That upon seeing the glory of the
Risen Christ, we should not immediately
Be crushed by its holy weight and purity.
No, God has chosen the foolish things of
This world to shame the wise,
Partake of the cross,
And be made fully pleasing to the
One who was fully pleased
To dwell in Christ.
